Yunsi Wei is the keeper of the bell and clock tower at the Custom House of Shanghai. He’s been a restless worker for the last 38 years at a demanding job that requires dedication and craftsmanship. Everyday he goes up and down the Custom House building to take care of the clock’s engine and to deliver the daily newspapers to offices and employees.
As he’s reached the retirement age, He’s seeking to rest and finally be able to travel with his wife. Nonetheless, it’s hard for the Custom House to replace Mr. Wei and so he has to keep working until they won’t find a substitute.
